A fourth generation painter, Maya Ohl Rodriguez has followed in the footsteps of her mother Irina Ohl (a watercolorist), her grandmother Erna Lane (a collagist), and her grandfather Harry Lane (whose paintings are owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art) and her great grandmother Erna Schultz (a miniature portraitist). After studying art and graduating from Dartmouth College, she continued her studies at Tufts, the Maryland School of Art, Missouri State Collage and the Silvermine School of Art.

Mrs. Rodriguez has been painting for over 40 years. Her award winning paintings have been included in numerous exhibitions throughout the Northeast. Venues have included Vermont Arts and Lifestyles Gallery (Woodstock, VT), Zellner Gallery (Wilton, CT), Rockwell Art & Framing (Wilton, CT) Silvermine Guild Gallery (New Canaan, CT), Red Fox Gallery (Georgetown, CT), Abode (North Salem, NY), and Newington-Cropsey Foundation Gallery (Hastings-on-Hudson, NY) for the Hudson Valley Art Association. Her most recent show was in Wilton, CT in 2017
